Fall Wedding at the WildFlower Center

Globe lights shone overhead as the circle tables began to fill with guests excited for the new bride and groom. He sat on the right and she on the left as they looked out at a courtyard filled with their favorite people conversing and filling up the noise of the night. They were both offered popsicles to share for dessert before the toasts began. They were red. The red kind that turn your lips a bright color but you don’t really think about that in the fall Texas heat. He let his new bride choose her flavor and took the one that was left. They crossed arms before sharing their popsicles to capture the intertwining of their lives that had just begun. And in that moment, right before they leaned in to taste, the bride’s nephew popped his head in to share the moment of his new Aunt and Uncle. At the moment, the new couple erupted in laughter and the laughter spread to the first few rows of table. Within seconds, there was family at the ready to make sure the moment would not pass without capturing the three with their popsicles together. The couple gladly welcomed him into their conversation as to them the night was as much about family as it was each other. They continued to enjoy their popsicles together until they were joined by the bides brother & sister, the groom’s father, and the best man awaiting their moment to toast to the new couple. And so the night went, full of laughter, food, popsicles, toasts, family, singing, and dancing. Throughout it all you could catch the newly weds smirking at each other. The new bride smiling at her husband as to say I wouldn’t want to share this night or life with anyone else.
